Pierre Omidyar Stops Stalling On Snowden Documents Instead Gives Up And Shutters Access Declaring "Case Closed"

Pierre Omidyar's "The Intercept" under the editorship of USG stooge Glenn Greenwald has stopped work on the Snowden archive citing the lack of headlines in five years as the reason for doing so (archived). Nevermind the lack of releases from the archive prevents headlines being written. They sat on a treasure trove whose only value was in being released and instead did nothing. Nothing beyond giving away the leakers that followed Snowden, to the tune of 5 years in prison for poor Reality Winner. Or as the rat Greenwald calls it:

From the time we began reporting on the archive provided to us in Hong Kong by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, we sought to fulfill his two principal requests for how the materials should be handled: that they be released in conjunction with careful reporting that puts the documents in context and makes them digestible to the public, and that the welfare and reputations of innocent people be safeguarded.

"Careful reporting" to protect "innocent people" as identified through a stooge tinted lens allows the empire's evil to continue fermenting in the safety of darkness. Nevermind the actual moral imperative professional journalists carry of indicting the guilty. If you are one of the self identified journalists holding a copy of the Snowden archive and would like to become a professional journalist with ethics aligning to morals, you are invited to do some reading and get in touch.

USG Burns "Delayed Notice Warrants" To Place Cameras In Massage Parlor For Prostitution Bust

USG "Law Enforcement" recently conducted a sting operation which ended up busting a Florida massage parlor and leading to charges against a number of their clients including fiat bank executives and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft. The sting operation involved police placing numerous cameras on the premises and then filming hundreds of hours of high definition porn. As fallout from making the prostitution bust, under the cover of "investigating human trafficking", the "delayed notice search warrant" legal device used by this gang of law enforcers has come to attention (archived).

The government thugs entered the premises under a variety of different pretexts disguised as a variety of service providers and littered the place with hidden cameras. In other dubious legal constructions brought to the case, four women arrested for hooking at the massage parlor are being baited with a special class of US visa should they turn state's witness and decide to self identify as trafficking victims.

This law enforcement operation's primary product has been embarrasing headlines in Pantsuitist media target at arrested patrons of the massage parlor, and to create those headlines "law enforcement" had to burn the previously low profile of a dubious "counter-terrorism" legalism.

China Makes Humanitarian Move To Aid Venezuala Restore Electricity Amid Dam Sabotage

China is offering to aid to Venezuela as Maduro struggles to restore electricity following apparent sabotage at the Guri dam's hydroelectric plant (archived). With Russia already showing strong continuing support for Maduro's regime and China making this move, it is going to be very hard for the US to contine painting action against Maduro as backed by the "International Community" while two UN Security Council veto powers are not merely voting, but acting against US efforts.

In related news, the RAND Corporation has loudly published reports showing the US losing to China and Russia in most WWIII scenarios they managed to imagine (archived).

Local Rag: Britain Just Leaving Their Undersea Cable Landing Sites Open And Unguarded

According to the Daily Mail, the landing point for the British side of a cable providing connectivity to North America is pretty much unguarded and the gate was even open when they took pictures (archived). They report the Hibernia express is 6 milliseconds faster than other routes connecting London and New York. Whether the piece is an honest expose of lax security standards or bait to draw attacks in the manner of FBI "Death Ray" plots is uncertain at this time.

Taliban's Late Mullah Omar Lived Out His Days 3 Miles From US Outpost

Former Taliban leader Mullah Omar, whose 2013 death was only revealed two years later, reportedly lived out his years after the US invasion separated from a US base by a very walkable 3 mile distance (archived). The nearby Forward Operating Base Wolverine held a garrison of 1000 soldiers during the period and frequently hosted US and allied special operations forces. Even though the US and some Tajiks "won" their initial war over the Taliban in 2 months (archived), the US has been continuously fighting a war in Afghanistan against the Taliban and others since October 7th, 2001.

French Ophthalmologists Demand Police Rubber Ball Bullet Ban After Epidemic Of Eye Injuries

Macron Ready to get BLAKKKED A letter written by France's leading opthamologists has been published in local media one month after it was sumbitted to the goverment of French Autcocrat Macron. The letter calls for a ban of 40mm flash ball "rubber" bullets enjoying liberal use among Macronist forces (archived). The problem projectiles carry the kinetic energy of a .38 special round to their target with a low degree of accuracy. Yellow Jacket rebels are in their 17th consecutive week of action against Macron's autocratic rule.

More than 20 eyes have been lost to Macronist forces wielding these weapons. Macron is one of several western autocrats who, after achieving narrow margins of electoral victory, wants to engage is regime change against Venezuela's democratically elected President Maduro who enjoys overwhelming margins of electoral victory.

Venezuela's Guri Dam And Simón Bolívar Hydroelectric Plant Sabotaged Leading To Blackouts

Profound blackouts have sticken Venezuela after sabotage at Guri dam's Simón Bolívar hydroelectric plant (archived). The dam, originally built in the 1960's has been continually upgraded through its life to a generating capacity of more than 10,000 megawatts. A portion of the complex's power output is normally exported to Colombia and Brazil. At this time it is uncertain whether the sabotage was carried out by a stuxnet type attack or by the other guys, but terrorism carried out by a rogue state leads the list of possible causes.

Of course, these "humanitarian interventions" have always tended to be very destructive and expensive for the humanitarianly aided (archived).

Indian Licenses Russian Assault Rifle For Domestic Production While US Scolds Pakistan Over Potential F-16 "Misuse"

The two south Asian giants in a hot border dispute are enjoying very different relationships with their major foreign arms suppliers. Indian managed to sign an agreement with Russia allowing them to produce more than 700,000 AK-203 assault rifles to replace their current standard issue INSAS rifle (archived). The move is being hailed as an end to the hunt to replace INSAS which disappoints in many of the environments where India needs the rifles to be used.

Meanwhile the US State Department is investigating whether Pakistan broke a clause in their F-16 purchase agreement which supposes that Pakistan needs to ask the US for permission before deploying the fighter jets in any situation where they might be useful (archived). For this reason Pakistan is producing and deploying Chinese designed JF-17 fighters to complement/replace their US made F-16 fleet. Pakistan has already lost one of their F-16 fighters in combat against Indian MiG-21 fighters during this conflict (archived).

World's Top Bridge Player Suspended Over… Doping???

The world's number one ranked Bridge player Geir Helgemo has been suspended from competition until November 20th after testing positive for synthetic testosterone and clomifene during an event in Florida last year (archived). While this sort of doping may not appear to be very relevant to competitive play in this card game, the World Bridge Federation let itself come under the purview of the International Olympic Committee and the World Anti-Doping Agency rules that come with trying to make a card game more Olympic. Thusly if you want to play in World Bridge Federation competition, you have to submit to drug testing like the track and field athletes.

USD Woes: Benjis Outnumber Singles And Almost Entirely Outside US Borders

CNBC decided to sound the alarm over the proliferation of 100 USD notes as the dominant manifestation of the USD altcoin in physical form (archived). These notes, affectionately referred to as Benjis are the most commonly printed currency by the US and the vast majority of them, to the tune of 80% by popular citations, circulate outside US borders. CNBC reports that the US treasury indeed makes a higher profit margin selling Benjis than any other note they print, and that a whole lot of benjis ended up abroad as part of the US's ongoing southwest Asia misadventures.

CNBC also mentions former Obama treasury chief Lawrence Summer's objection to the existence of Benjis for their potential to facilitate corruption while at the same time failing to connect that to their earlier mentioning of the USG dumping pallets of fresh Benjis into southwest Asia and everywhere else the US clumsily misadventures.
