Voters in Italy went big for anti European Union parties in the country's election over this past weekend. The 5 Star Movement won just under one third of the vote leaving it with a plurality of the parlimentary seats to be allocated. The traditional leftist pantsuit Democratic party managed less than 19 percent of the vote leaving it likely to be shut out of the upcoming effort to build a government. Two generally right wing parties by Italian standards Lega and Forza Italia won 17.7 and 13.9 percent of the vote. Make Italy, Great Again!

Mining Rig Heist In Iceland: Arrests Made But No Material Recovered

Reports are emerging that allege 600 Bitcoin mining rigs and other supporting materials were stolen from a data center in Iceland between December 2017 and January 2018 (archived). No materials have been recovered and out of 11 arrests related to the investigation, local police are only keeping two suspects in custody.

Favorable electricity prices in Iceland have set the island up to be one of the first regions where power consumption for Bitcoin mining exceeds power consumption for other purposes.

Oppression In Spain: Heavy Handed Madrid Government Suppressing Catalan Independence Referendum

The Madrid government has arrested numerous local leaders, seized voting materials, usurped local police command, and undertaken a campaign of censorship in an effort to stop a referendum from happening (archived). On September 27th, 2015 the government of the nominally autonomous region of Catalonia announced its intent to pursue a peaceful secession from the Madrid government and become an independent republic. Towards this cause they scheduled a referendum on independence for October 1st of this year.

As is typical of other contemporary European secession movements, there is substantial resentment that the self declared supranational government in Madrid is burdening the Catalan nation with the woe demanded by the failing two headed EU Reich centered in Berlin and Brussels. Apparently the level of resentment has hit a point where Angela Merkel's puppets in Madrid are seeking to prevent a vote they are sure to lose for the sake of preserving "Our Democracy".

Austria And Car Makers Conspire To Cripple 600,000 Cars Already Sold

Austrian Transport Minister Joerg Leichtfried announced today that a number of car manufacturers have signed the papers to impose software changes on 600,000 diesel vehicles which would lessen their drivability. Despite the fact of these vehicles already having been sold, the manufacturers decided that fucking their customers over by retroactively making the cars shittier in order to satisfy Austrian Transport Minister Joerg Leichtfried (WOT:nonperson) was apparently an acceptable course of action.

Swedish Railroad Consults Masses: Trainy McTrainface Results

Swedish rail operator MTR Express has resigned itself to naming a new train running the Stockholm to Gothenburg line "Trainy McTrainface" after it opened to the naming process to the masses, and the only possible outcome resulted. A variety of suggested names commemorating persons, culture, and events were ignored in favor of a name at intersection of plain description and peak anthropomorphism. Surely Trainy McTrainface was a very happy train after being told the result.

American Student Investor Lynched In Greece

Bakari Henderson, a twenty two year old American student visiting Greece on business was lynched to death by a mob. Two ethnically Balkan employees of a bar where Henderson had been drinking were charged with homicide by local authorities while eight individuals of undisclosed ethnic backgrounds are undergoing continued questioning in relation to this lynching.

There have been no credible reports yet of Black Lives Matter or Rebel But Gangster Black Rebels activity in Greece as a response to this lynching.

Poor Brits Evacuated From Their Warehousing In Green Incinerators

Following a 30 minute apartment tower to oven conversion earlier this month which claimed at least 79 lives, thousands of impoverished Brits are being evacuated from their government sponsored storage. The Grenfell inferno that triggered the current round of evacuations was fed by flammable insulating foam cladding applied to the exterior of the building in the name of "Green" energy conservation.

As of this writing more than 4,000 people have been made internal refugees of the United Kingdom due to the government's disregard for fire safety as it pursued it's "Green" efficiency fetish while remodelling the facilities that once stored these new refugees. The type of insulation which converted the Grenfell tower to an oven is banned in high rise applications outside the United Kingdom for fire safety reasons, and is at least nominally banned inside the United Kingdom as well.

Prime Minister Theresa May has not answered whether the Government was aware it had banned the sort of flammable cladding applied to its warehouses for the poor. May, whose government has now been saddled with the expense of catching up on deferred maintenance on an emergency basis for these warehouses, further insisted that Airstrip One no es un pais pobre.
