Elon Musk Venture Remotely Diddles Attentive Owner's Vehicle

Elon Musk's Tesla Motors remotely downgraded the firmware on a vehicle owned by attentive owner Jason Hughes. As an attentive vehicle owner Hughes had earlier investigated a firmware update and found information suggesting a new Tesla Model S variant with a larger battery and shared the results of his investigation with the world. In what appears to be a retaliatory move Musk's firm downgraded his vehicle firmware remotely, a move that was subsequently noticed by the attentive Hughes.

Leaked Voicemails Show Donald Trump-Clinton Cozy With Liberal Media

A number of leaked voicemails show New York con artist and politician Donald Trump-Clinton's warm, cozy relationship with members of the leftist media. Despite the character Trump-Clinton plays on television presenting an adversarial relationship with the mainstream media, the leaked messages show affection for Trump demonstrated by NBC personalities as diverse as Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, and Tamron Hall (archived). Frontier County Prosecutor Alleges Circle Jerk iPhone Carries "Cyber Pathogens"

District Attorney Michael Ramos of San Bernadino County in California's desert frontier is now alleging the famous circle jerk iPhone 5c is now carrying a "cyber pathogen" (archived). With this latest wankery the podunk attorney is attempting to seriously allege a couple with a dangerous cyber pathogen would get themselves killed in a mundane shooting spree before they could deploy it. It's like suggesting a bio terrorist with Zika or Dengue would similarly get themselves killed in a boring normal shooting before spreading it to as many flying syringes as possible.

Hold on to your butts – Argentina is going on sale.

This year Argentina has a new president, one Mauricio Macri. The fellow stands very strongly on the side of capital and against labour, with daily pronouncements drawing the ire of the grobian-socialistoid Argentine (("Hay que reducir los gastos, y el salario es un gasto mas" (Macri) – "El salario es un derecho [umano]!11" (the G-S A). Chinese Businesses Scavenge US Industry For Brands

Today United States regulators from the "Justice" department gave China based Haier permission to buy General Electric's appliance unit. General Electric's efforts to escape the low margin appliance business have become public knowledge twice before. The first effort failed to find any credible buyers. Following that, last year "Justice" Department regulators refused permission for Swedish firm Electrolux's to unburden General Electric of this line of business by acquiring it for 3.3 billion United States dollars. They expressed concern about the poverty of suppliers for wall mounted ovens and cooktops for commerical use in the United States. Now Haier, which already markets appliances for sale in the United States, has received approval to acquire this business line from General Electric for 5.4 billion United States dollars. Government Accountability Office Declines To Offer Opinion On Worthless USG Finances

As has happened every year since 1997 during the height of the first1 Clinton presidency the United States Government Accountability Office has declined to offer an opinion on the United States Goverment's consolidated finances (archived). This is due to the impossibility of rendering an opinion with the financial statements from numerous department being so broken as to lack all meaning whatsoever. In other words the finances of the United States Government are in the same shape they have been since Bush I, Clinton I, Bush II, and Obama managed to lose the Cold War years after the Soviet Union collapsed.

  1. At this point BitBet odds presume either Hillary Rodham Clinton or Donald Trump Clinton will usher in a second Clinton presidency.

2015 IRS Breach Estimate Revised Upwards To 720,000 Records

The estimated number of taxpayer's records taken in a breach the IRS waited until May 2015 to confirm has been revised from nearly 100,000 to roughly 720,000 in a new figure (archived). In August 2015 the figure was quietly revised upwards to 330,000 records. The substantial increase coming with each new revised figure for a single breach suggests the IRS has no idea how many records have been accessed, and they are further incapable of knowing until they have been scammed. Sorry for your loss.

New York City Nuclear Power Problem

Reports are emerging that 23 miles outside of New York City leaks of radioactive material from the Indian Point Energy Center are increasing (archived). This base load power station contributes 2 Gigawatts of electricity to its service area in New York City and Westchester county from two pressurized water reactors built by Westinghouse. The two operating reactors were completed in 1974 and 1976 respectively and are a substantial reason for New York City's relatively affordable electricity prices. The increasing rate of leaked radioactive materials suggests that Indian Point may be entering a state of disrepair which would deny the New York City area the benefits of a well-run nuclear power plant on their electric grid. The twin dilemmas of a sinking energy extraction industry and failing nuclear power infrastructure may fertilize the ground sufficiently for a politically driven electrical energy crisis prominently featuring terms like "smart grid" and "single national electricity distribution grid" in the vocabulary.

US Farmers Shift To Complete Loss Control Mode As Corn Belt Keeps Fraying

The already bleak picture for United States agriculture is only getting bleaker as 2016 continues. Farmers are now openly talking about this year's planting as an exercise in minimizing their losses instead of profit seeking with agricultural commodity prices in the toilet. The surplus of agricultural products is so great that prices remain depressed even with minimal product entering the market from storage. The consumption of products derived from staple crops is substantially increasing as evidenced by mayo gendered obeasts becoming a substantial political bloc trending to become the majority of the population, yet even the transmayo can not accelerate their consumption enough to adequately stimulate demand. Secondary effects of the agricultural industry's malaise are starting to be felt as manufacturers of heavy equipment are suffering the double whammy of slumping farms and an agonal energy industry. Sorry for your loss.
