Sixteen Canadian women working as estheticians face "human rights" complaints over their refusal to wax scrotums (archived). The complaints have all been brought by a single complaintant selfidentifying as a "trans-woman", and the complaints have all come with a settlement demand to drop the complaint for a four figure amount of Canadian dollars. The cost of defending against the complaints at the "human rights" tribunal is expected to incur five figure Canadian dollar liabilities. The recipients of the complaints are specialists in attending to women, and they insist that waxing balls is outside their professional scope of practice.
