Joe Stacking has seen an increase in recent days with 2 men pushed to the brink took to the skies in pursuit of satisfaction:

• In the first incident a SEATAC ground crew member, 29 year old Richard Russell, took a plane from his workplace and engaged in a recreational flight with his only training sourced from video games (archived). In a conversation with air traffic controllers he lamented the enui of his marginalized white, male, Pacific Northwestern existence and threatened nothing more than the thrill of attempting to perform a barrel roll. US government F-15 warplanes followed the joyrider until the plane met the ground, likely due to action by the pilots of the warplanes killing Russell.
• In the second incident 47 year old Duane Youd, a professional pilot driven to the edge by his bitch wife took a Cessna Citation jet and flew it into his Utah home which his bitch wife had police remove him from hours earlier (archived). The wife survived the incident uninjured, but substantially poorer.
