The entire police force of Blandford, Massachusetts resigned from the force last night (archived). Interim chief Roberta Sarnacki and all three officers shared a single resination letter where they alleged "unsafe working conditions" and poor equipment. At the 2010 census Blandford had a population of 1233 persons.
