Today an amendment to the 2003 Communications Decency act went into effect that severely limits the acts that can be portrayed in pornography produced in the United Kingdom. The changes apply restrictions that the United Kingdom has placed on content produced for DVD porn and extends those restrictions to Video on Demand Porn. Pornographer Erika Lust regrets the changes as:
because my fellow producers will suffer as businesses, but because what is most apparent is the enforced restriction on what appears to be acts from which women derive pleasure.
Among the banned acts are strangulation, face sitting, and fisting which were categorized as "life-endangering." In the global labor and entertainment markets powered by the Internet, the United Kingdom is severely restricting its ability to compete as a place where productive activity can happen. The list of acts prohibited as enumerated are:
- Caning
- Aggressive whipping
- Penetration by any object "associated with violence"
- "Physical or verbal abuse"
- Urolagnia
- Female ejaculation
- Strangulation
- Facesitting
- Fisting
This is similar to what we have in Australia but taken a step further in that cartoon porn, such as the Family Guy and Simpsons porn mockups (something you might've come across online but is something I have only heard of, not seen with my own eyes, not downloaded or even linked to) and women with small breasts, which apparently implies that the woman is not a woman but in fact a minor, is illegal.
I guess anyone with a proclivity to purchase or produce this type of content could do so using Bitcoin, not that I would encourage such an illegal act.
