Canadian Man's Letter To Court: Accept Bitcoin As The One And Only Global Currency

Guided by "the hand of God", Canadian man Jaren Wayne Feser smashed his pickup truck into Calgary Courthouse back in July of 2013. Feser not only caused $80,000 worth of damage but according to Bench Justice Mary Moreau, violated a safe space.

"This can erode public confidence in the safety of the courthouse."

Having provided police with no explanation for his actions, letters penned by Feser were summarised to the court by his defense lawyer, which read in part:

"Any nation that wishes to avoid catastrophe and chaos must repent by closing all prison, releasing all captives, and accepting bitcoin as the one and only global currency."

While Feser, who is still facing drugs charges, was sentenced to eight months for his dangerous driving, others have called his actions exemplary.
