   It is with great honor and privilege that The Bitcoin Foundation embraces
   this opportunity to address the public on the state of current progress,
   obstacles and continuing steps in our mission.

   During the course of October, The Foundation redirected its focus towards
   reviewing, and testing submitted vpatches for the Reference Implementation.
   It was a productive month.

0x01]: Accomplishments

   The main focus of the month was on implementation, regrinding, and testing
   of the `mod6_privkey_tools.vpatch' [R.03] as described in the email to the
   mailing list [R.04].

   The Foundation would like to recognize shinohai [R.05] for his extensive
   contributions to the testing efforts surrounding the aforementioned
   vpatch.

   Attention is required to a number of vpatch submissions awaiting review.
   Efforts will continue in this direction.
